Hmm, I thought I was the only laptop player around here.

Its an i7 2,3mhz x8 cores.Yes 8 cores (the early i7 models had 8 cores and mine is of the first line created). As for the computer is an early `90 midi atx tower (sorry Deamon but i think Kali and Devon play with laptops) that only the case has remained :D
As for the Nvidia panel i`m goin to try it tonight bro and feedback.
For your prob navigating i have a usefull tip.Strip anything that is needed somewhere else too when you`re changing mechs and you don`t want to buy another to stay in that mech.It is a lot easier this way.As for the philosophy behind how the new ui works is disaster!A lot of clicks for doin unnecessary and little work. After 2 years of development they`ve come up with this?

i7 and 2,3 GHZ does not Compute - sorry bro UNLESS its a laptop. Also there is no such thing as x8 cores yet - there is only 4 cores with TWO threads in the consumer market - so it lists 8 threads in the task manager but PHYSICALLY its only 4cores (intel wise cause AMD has an 8 "core" cpu out now but they are actually sharing resources in pairs so they can't be nominates as truly 8 physical cores rather as 4 modules with 2 cores each).

My best bet, taking into account your GPU's age and generation is that you have and Intel Core Quad something Q8xxx or Q9xxx - - they were/are very strong CPUs still but no - they wouldn't bottleneck a GTX260 - they did pair very fine back then - especially the Core 216 version.
If that's the case - i would check what memory modules you are using since the cheap-ass computer shop thieves in our country would usually pair that with the slowest DDR2 they could find (iirc ddr2-800 and not 1066+).

Fox Parker has one such methinks - but Fox did overclock it too ;) .
It's easy to find exactly the cpu your pc has by running CPU-Z.

In other news from Piranha :

- A log in issue that can affect a low percentage of users. Piranha says that you can get in if you keep trying, and that skipping the video intros with the ESC key also helps.

-Consumables used during a match not being unequipped, yet not valid for the next match. You can avoid this bug by not leaving matches early or equipping modules.

-Activating banked premium time doesn’t work. You'll have to wait for the hot fix on this one.

- Camo Spec doesn't show up correctly. Leaving the mech customization screen and returning should fix this.

Whats even more insulting is that they knew those issues and still decided to drop the patch anyway. So much for a game that launched. I don't know, i am losing faith rapidly. MWO is the only game that has CTD'd for me since like over 5 years i own this PC - which while not current gen atm it's still very fast and most importantly stable like a tank.

Anyway i will try to log in @ noon/early evening today for practice - i hope i will be able to drop.

You may be right because recall the numbers from mind and i have 3 million things in my mind right now.Anyway before drop today i`ll make it certain , but the computer or th GPU is the issue here.Poor thinking from PGI is!

yeah, putting the main slider to low helped. looks kinda crappy, but good fps. It doesnt really make sense. When they first did the patch on tuesday the frame rates were better than I had ever seen and it looked great, then after the hotfix they are kinda crappy but playable. tnx guys. I'm still going to be on less since I finally got a job!!!!! YAY!!!! :D

Grats JD!!! :D

Anyway my CPU is i7 920 build with 4 cores at 2,67mhz working in pairs that`s why windows sees them as 8  But i fixed the prob.I uninstalled and reinstaled the game completely and that fixed it for me.Now it is stable and playable , except the fact that i would give my right arm to have the old ui back , and its not the learning curve i believe.

P.S. its a good thing to know that you`ve given extra money to get 1600MHZ memmory based on your motherboard support and learn that your CPU does not support them
