The most important thing is to keep a singular community; if they isolate each server's player base, it will be terrible. Having events timed in various local zones is not a bad thing. In fact it may encourage all houses and units to expand in many regions and have international representation. Needless to say that they should not preclude players from different time zones to participate in any event, if they want to.

To conclude, I agree with Devilcrayon that there are too many "if" and nothing is final. All we can do is wishful thinking...

I didn't hear anything that makes me like the game any less. UI 2.0 sounds like the stepping stone to bigger and better things. The idea of constantly rolling out new content keeps the game fresh and engaging. Bryan repeated many times that this is a business, and I believe that it is certainly in the best interests of all concerned that there be a constant flow of material that keeps the player base engaged. (Deathmatch anyone?) The only thing I have any negative feeling about is the lobby in relation to Madness and Scramble as the new UI will pretty eliminate the possibility of sync dropping.

Sync dropping will be out of the question with new lobby system. But also with the new weight limiting system more group options will come (like 8 mech size) so it won't be needed to sync drop.

I'm guessing you will be able sync drop into a lobby just like you can sync directly into a match now.

Most likely correct, the changes shouldn't prevent it. So Marik Madness should be safe.

However, we should be getting the larger group sizes at the same time, so that'll be a plus and help mitigate any issues it causes with sync dropping.
