Guys,

Fox is out of town and Mark usually can not make it to Friday practices due to the time difference. Which means it falls to me to lead practice (I now pause for the guffaws to pass). The problem with that is the "PUG it up" (officially "Be a Hero") competition going on this weekend; which means, that doing 4 man practice is IMHO a waste... because the number of 4-mans out there this weekend is very small. So we will be running into primarily 8 solo puggers which makes for in most cases stomps.

My questions to all of you are...

Do you agree with these assesments?
Should we do our best to grab enough to do 8-mans?
or Should we cancel practice all together and participate in the impromptu Marik "Be a Hero" Madness that has sprung up?

I am looking for opinions so please let me know.
(Mark, Fox if you see this your opinions would be invaluable.)

Well, I think there's still basic skills (piloting and gunnery, map knowledge, communications) that can be practiced, even if the enemy is a group of singletons.

I'm not really that pumped about 8-mans, and if people are jumping into being a hero, then I think that 8-mans would be similarly difficult to either fill out, or to find competition.

I'm still up for group practice. I'm not especially excited at the prospect of 8-mans, but I'd be up for at least a few. Or if, in light of the current MWO event, we wanted to cancel this evening, then I'm not going to pitch any fits.
