Mech Efficiency.

Javenri came up with some sort of effeciency equation, though I cant remember it exactly. something like total damage \ total matches \ mech tonnage = average damage per ton of mech. kind of interesting results.

for example, my DDC:
980525 damage \ 2832 matches \ 100 tons = 3.46 average damage per ton of mech

compared to my Jag DD
224449 damage \ 649 matches \ 65 tons = 5.32 average damage per ton of mech

the Jag is pulling off more damage per ton...or something like that.

regardless...just thought it was interesting

In my basketball days i had a coach that said that "math (refering to the "tendex" statistical player performance chart) is the most scientific way to lie"!
So the thing is actually that every single time i prefer a good light pilot scouting , capping ,tagin etc. than a hard hitting bull.
When the tonnage limits kick in thought its goin to be very usefull to sort the bulls :)

6.1 - I don't think I need to elaborate on which particular chassis this relates to :)

Not the best statistic in my opinion, since you usually need to dish out a certain amount of damage to take a 'Mech down, no matter your weight - the heavy hitters just reach that number faster. And there's also a finite maximum amount of (effective) damage you can get in a single match.

Anyways, when it comes to 'Mech efficiency on the battlefield, kills + assists (per damage, per ton, per match, or whatever) are usually the best criterion to go by. Now only if PGI did list the assists count on our profiles.
