mp00 didn't want me to get burned out... So I'm kinda blaming him for my current hardware failure. Something went wrong with my previous computer setup, and I'm presently left using a crumby borrowed tower for internet access until I can save up enough money for some long overdue hardware upgrades (duo-core from '06, anyone?).

I'm still definitely interested in joining (though its disappointing to hear that Kittysmasher, Haplox, and Wolfong left).

I'll check back here periodically, though until my upgrades are complete, definitely no MWO, and most likely no TS for me.

yes! I broke another computer and not even within 100 miles of it! my computer breaking skills are improving!
but damn sorry to hear about computer though.. and we all disappointed in losing people from the unit but it does happen.. people come people go we want people to be in the best place for themselves.. and we still talk to and drop with them

With getting a new computer are you building yourself or buying a premade? There is tons of people around who can help with getting the best deal for your dollar. Several in unit who have built there own computer and tons on the regular MWO forums.

Still come on by TS can always listen to us in our drops and cheer us on lol .. discuss (complain about) MWO changes etc..

Definitely not getting a premade. Right now its just a matter of money for a mobo and CPU, and perhaps a power supply if that's something that malfunctioned.

So overall I'm estimating another 3-4 weeks (grumbling about paying rent).

You know when you have everything squared away for an upgrade... Then when you're in the final steps of getting everything ready, and you realized you forgot to upgrade something crucial?

Yeah... DVD ROM is too old. Uses one of those old ribbon connectors, and the new mobo doesn't support that.
