You probably want to make contact with CSA-Theta Galaxy as soon as possible to coordinate drop-decks, mechs, and play some as a team prior to the match.

PGI will be providing in-game prizes to the winners and perhaps the runners-up.

Here is the bracket

Here are the rules:
Clan Nova Cat will be promoting our Mixed 6 Tournament to be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 starting at 2000 hours (8PM) EST
Teamspeak hosted by Clan Star Adder- Theta Galaxy on Clanhub: 198.37.118.56 pw: StranaMechty
ALL PLAYERS MUST BE IN STAR ADDERS' Teamspeak server and in the right channel by 1945 hours (15 minutes early to get briefing, etc.)
SPIRIT OF THE EVENT:
TThis event is designed to build camaraderie and foster a general sense of friendly competition between clan members and friends of Clan Nova Cat. You're meant to have fun and to be challenged. This is an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with members of other clans as well as get an opportunity to play with people that you may only recognize as a name on a scoreboard. This tournament is designed for people who would normally be playing on a Saturday night anyway; its designed to be an informal challenge and fun.
A team will consist of three players from one clan/group being teamed up with three players from another clan/group to comprise one, six-man team. They will fight other similarly comprised teams in a single-elimination (first to post two wins) match. Winners advance to the next level bracket. Losers are eliminated. PGI will be sponsoring this event with in-game prizes, as well as some randomly drawn prizes for competitors by some sponsors of the event.
General Rules:
1. Open to registered members of Clan Nova Cat
(and invited friends of Clan Nova Cat). Single
elimination, randomly assigned teams; 6v6
bracket.
2. Inner Sphere and Clan 'Mechs. Airstrikes/UAVs/
Artillery permitted.
3. Preliminary rounds are best of 3 (first to win two
rounds). Championship round is the best of 5
(first to win three rounds).
4. All matches must be screen-shotted to count. If
you have no proof of the win, the win didn't
happen. We expect honesty in reporting,
but prefer actual proof (voice confirmation by
losing team will also work).
5. All players will be held to a strict reporting
schedule. Match results with a screen shot
should be reported within 5 minutes of
the end of the match. The quicker I can
process the results, the quicker we can move to
the next phase of the brackets.
6. There will be no deviation from specified maps,
tonnages, or server settings. All players will
adhere to this rule at all times.
7. If there is a server disconnection, the
disconnected player can re-join as long as the
match is still in progress. The match will not be
restarted.
8. Screen shots will be taken at the end of each
map, clearly showing the outcome, and if
possible the 'mechs involved--so as
to ensure that the players can be shown using
the proper 'mechs and the final score (damage).
If you can manage to hit "Print Screen"
during the action for some stills for the website
or film the matches, that would be great!
9. Matches should be played within the specified
time frame. The final match should be over by
midnight or so.
10. All participating teams need to provide me with
their home Teamspeak server info in case a
team needs to relplace somebody. Players may
use any tonnage up to and equal to the
tonnage limit as long as both teams have six
warriors fighting from each side per team). If
uou want to come in at 10-30 tons (or more)
under the limit; that's fine!
SPECIAL ITEMS OF NOTE:
Teams will register by emailing me at lordskeletor@gmail.com.
Please include your in-game name along with an email address and clan affiliation, as well as your clan's Teamspeak server in case we need to contact you. Players will make arrangements for me (Skeletor) to get temporary voice access to speak with players/leaders in the days leading up to the tourney. ALSO PROVIDE A BACKUP CONTACT IN CASE YOU CAN'T BE CONTACED!
Clans/Teams can have three members (per registered team slots) registered as "backups" in case they lose a player or two (or they are no-shows). However, after the first round is played, no substitutions will be allowed.
In the week prior to the match, my bracketing software will randomly team your three players with three players from another clan/team to create a mixed, six-man team. The brackets will be emailed out to individual players, or can be seen by logging into Clan Nova Cat's Teamspeak Server or website. I will likely have to manually tweak the brackets to ensure each participating teams' members are teamed up with a different team's players and to ensure that nobody from the same team is fighting a team/player from the own group in the first round.
In order for this match to work (private games), one player on either team needs to have premium time on their accounts.
Bye Rounds may be awarded upon the eventuality of a forfeit (or someone dropping out). A list of players on standby will be compiled and utilized if there are last-minute losses of players. There will be no uneven number of participants competing any time. After the first round has been played, there can be no substitutions. If a team can't field their registered team, they must forfeit. Bye(s) will be determined at random by my bracket-maker software if there is an uneven number of registered teams.
I generally would like the match to be over Saturday night before midnight, but I realize some matches can drag on.
