I have to upgrade my system or buy a new one.
I've been eyeing The x51 r2 from Alienware
Any of you have this?
If not, what are you guys running to get over 30 fps, especially on the new CW maps which are simply murdering my frame rates?

Re: Need a new rig
Alienware stuff is pretty overprices for the specs.
I have a tower from Digital Storm that I like quite well.

You can either do a fully customized build or they have some preset-builds that aren't as flexible, but a bit less.
When I got mine, it ended up being almost exactly the same price as piecing out the parts from Newegg.

get this, with this you have room to improve if needs be (both cpu and ram even though i dont think you will ever need more than 8gb) this 970 will last you many years and i can tell you will play pretty much anything on ultra its quite a lot cheaper than an alienware and its definatly not using cheap HP/dell parts in it
edit: my standards are for 60+ fps so if you expect 30 you will have a big surprise with this ahah

I am looking at the Lenovo Y-50 and MSI Dominator. Both offer SSD or hybrid drives with 8G RAM and Nvidia 860/870 2G video cards. Both are around $1000.
