The design docs that give more details on the 1st stage of CW outlined by Bryan at the launch party are up.

Mostly seems reasonable to me so far.

While there are definitely a lot more details in there than we've had in the past, this is right in line with everything they've said going back even to before I started in Closed Beta.

For the most of that, only one thing requires any major change for us. We may have to go by a different name in game. This does not mean we can't call ourselves whatever we want out of game. As a unit, during closed beta, we have talked about what will happen if we have to change our name. The short of it is that we will change our name to To the Knife and keep our 4th RH heritage. If we really want some sort of back story, we can write a spin-off story of a bunch of 4th going and becoming a new mercenary unit that only contracts to House Marik.

All of this will be discussed in a unit wide meeting in the near future, but for now rest assured that we already were prepared for this. Note that our domain name does not infringe on any Battletech unit, district, or house names.
